Anyone who knows me will understand I like to organise. It’s just part of my genetic code. I can regularly be found clearing out and re-organising cupboards. In a home our size we need to keep on top of our possessions, otherwise they creep up and shout BOO. So, lo and behold my Grand Spring Clean. I know by blogging this, I will surely be shamed into completing it.
BATHROOM
-Buy mirror and put up.
BEDROOM
-Buy mount for bird picture. Put in frame and hang.
-Frame horse picture and Little Robot prints and find right space on wall.
-Buy a few photograph albums.
-Go through box of photographs and put into new albums.
-Re-organise (how many times have I done this) clothes and drawer, boxes etc in bedroom.
HALL
-Go through wedding magazines (I cannot let them go!) and take any pictures I like for wedding scrapbook.
-Find boxes to put in the shelf in the hall table.
HALL CUPBOARD (So cavernous it needs a category of it’s own!)
-Clear out.
-Put all electrical items together in one box.
-Put all household DIY items together in one box.
-Put all entertainment items (eg Technics cables, spare headphones) together. Remember items in living room!
SPARE ROOM
-Go through bag of clothes and bric-a-brac and seperate into charity shop/clothes swap bags.
-Be ruthless with books. Read any not read and get rid of ones that I don’t want.
-Tidy bookcase. (again.)
-Assemble small Ikea box. Paint and decorate.
-Organise chest of drawers.
-Photograph ebay stuff for selling.
-Sell ebay items.
-Buy new blinds.
-Put up new blinds.
-Decide what to do with small picture frames lying in cupboard.
LIVING ROOM
-Double up books in bookcase.
-Re-organise craft cabinet.
-Re-organise sideboard.
-Clean sofa.
-Make new cushions to add to my comfort!
And there we have it. My Grand Spring Clean. Feel free to join in – I’d love a bit of support on this one.
